Farm Animals

Children enjoy handling and feeding animals.

Even the most timid of children warm to the variety of furry friends.

Meet Lucky, Sniffles and other dwarf goats.

The sheep and cattle mingle with geese, ducks,  rabbits,  pigs, horses and any other furry or live creatures who happen to be around.

Buck and wild hares live close by and can sometimes be seen scurrying across the road or paddock.

Horse riding or even just petting the horses is another firm favorite with guests of all ages.

 

Sports and Outdoor Activities

The spacious lawn doubles as volley ball court, cricket pitch, driving range or whatever the sport of the day is.

The large trampoline helps young guests work off extra energy and keep children entertained.

Swings and jungle gym are scattered around the lawn where parents can keep a watchful eye.

The river holds its own attractions which include the foefie slide, boats, tubes, fishing, swimming and exploring.  These activities should take place under the watchful eyes of adults and lifejackets are strongly recommended on the boats and foefie slide.

There is a spacious entertainment area where guests can play games, darts or simply relax around the ambience of the bar and country views.

Try for a bass anything from small to 1.3kg (current record holder) or register a new record

The river is also rich in trout, apparently abundant during the cooler months - any takers show us that there are trout in the “Mooi River”

While the children are keeping busy with all the activities on offer, adults can take advantage of the opportunity to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

 

Moms can pop out and visit highlights on the Meander, while dads can enjoy the fishing, swim or spend quality time with their children.

 

For our Mature Guests

 

For the quieter guests seeking peace, visit when there are no children around and enjoy the tranquility, abundant bird life or take a relaxing stroll down to the river.

 

Our facilities are on flat ground and are generally wheelchair friendly.
